The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series P One Edition was only ever offered to those who had placed an order for the Formula 1-powered AMG One hypercar but now, one of these rare creations has hit the used car market.

It is understood that this GT Black Series P One Edition is one of just 25 examples built for the U.S. market and unlike most others we’ve seen that have a silver paint scheme that fades to black at the rear, this one is finished entirely in gloss black but does feature hundreds of hand-painted silver three-pointed star motifs across the exterior. The car has been listed up for auction through Bring a Trailer with 172 miles (277 km) on the clock and has a clean Carfax report and a North Carolina title.

Those who had the opportunity to purchase the P One Edition had to cough up an extra $57,300 over the starting price of a standard AMG GT Black Series. In addition to getting a special black and silver paint scheme, the car features accents on the skirts and wheels with the Petronas colors. Speaking of the wheels, they measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear and are wrapped in 295/35 front and 335/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.

Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series P One Edition Is Perfect For The Track Enthusiast

Found inside the cabin of the rare P One Edition are performance seats wrapped in black leather with Alcantara and teal stripes and contrast stitching.

In terms of performance, there is nothing separating the P One Edition from a regular AMG GT Black Series. As such, the car continues to rock a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 tuned to produce 720 hp and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque. This engine sends its power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential.

A similar Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series P One Edition was recently auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s for $775,000, so it’s possible this one will sell for a similar amount.
