The Huracan might be sold-out until the end of its production which is expected later in 2023, but that didn’t stop Lamborghini from creating another special one-off based on the Sterrato. The “Opera Unica” with a hand-painted exterior that combines three different shades of blue was unveiled during Lamborghini’s VIP 60th anniversary dinner.
The one-off was created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam, with the application of the unique paint combination taking over 370 hours. The process started with the Blue Amnis solid paint which was etched into by hand with Blue Grifo and Blue Fedra shades. The resulting livery has a crystal and frozen liquid effect, looking like no other Huracan. Lamborghini says that the unique shade was inspired by the “vibrant blue hues of the sea and the skies of Sardinia” which is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.

The bodykit of the Sterrato is painted in matte black, including the wide fenders, roof, side sills, front LED casings, and bumper aprons, while the same configuration was chosen for the 19-inch Morus wheels. The interior is also blue-themed, with leather and Alcantara dyed in a darker Blu Delphinus shade, and details on the lighter Celeste Phoebe leather. There is also plenty of exposed carbon fiber, crystal-effect details, and a special plate commemorating the unveiling event.
Speaking of which, the 60th-anniversary dinner for Lamborghini VIP clients was held in a fitting environment at the Cala di Volpe Hotel. The 120 guests were treated to Matsuhisa Nobu cuisine and a dancing performance before the unveiling of the Opera Unica. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, was also present, describing the one-off as an “art form”.
Lamborghini didn’t clarify if the Huracan Sterrato Opera Unica is reserved for a special client but said it will be showcased at the Lamborghini Lounge in Porto Cervo. The Ad Personam personalization area in the premises will remain open until September 10 to serve Lamborghini owners, while offering test drives of models like the Huracan Tecnica and the Urus on the roads of Costa Smeralda.
