Ford took the wraps off the 2024 F-150, and with this unveiling comes a fresh dose of enhancements for its off-road focused offerings: the Tremor and the Raptor. While there have been no powertrain updates announced, the introduction of new technology, aesthetics, and hardware should certainly pique the interest of enthusiasts.
To kick things off, the Blue Oval has refreshed the designs of both the F-150 Raptor and Tremor. Starting from the side mirrors and moving forward, both trucks now feature distinctive designs that are meant to proudly display their aggressive and commanding presence to all onlookers.

For the F-150 Raptor R, a unique power dome on the hood adds aggressive style all its own. Both Raptor models will be offered with a new shade of paint called Shelter Green, symmetrical hood graphics, and “Raptor” lettering over the wheel lip molding to give them some serious attitude.
On a more functional level, the 2024 F-150 Raptor and Raptor R will be available with a new modular bumper designed to fit more accessories. That includes a light bar and others products that will soon be unveiled by Ford Performance.
In addition, on Raptor series vehicles equipped with 37-inch tires, the bumper end caps have been designed to expose more of the front tire. Not only does this look more aggressive, it also makes the truck more capable in rough terrain than models equipped with the standard bumper.

That will be important, because the rest of the truck is set to get more capable, too. Newly designed Fox Duel Live Valve shocks will provide “a more confident, controlled riding experience,” Ford claims.
An option for the 2024 F-150 Raptor, the shocks expand on the existing Fox Live Valve shocks with new rebound control, which features a Ford Performance-developed off-road algorithm. These allow the electronic suspension controls to adjust hundreds of times a second to adapt to changing terrain conditions.
Ford says that they perfectly complement the returning five-link rear suspension that features extra-long trailing arms, a Panhard rod, and 24-inch coil springs optimized for stability in high-speed desert terrain.
Should a driver’s ambitions prove too great for all of the new suspension tech, standard forged tow hooks should help them get out of trouble. And they may be hooked up to the new winch designed for the 2024 F-150 Tremor, if need be.

Designed to fit into the model’s modular bumper, it will also be available with a Ford engineering-designed brush guard, and other accessories are also being designed. The bumper has also been styled to work with the Tremor’s “coast to coast” grille.
Ford has chosen to finish the truck’s bumper in a combination of Tarnished Dark Anodized and Carbon Black Colors. Elsewhere, a Tremor box side decal, orange accents, unique running boards, and decorative stitching inside will help the model stand apart.
No specific updates to powertrains on either model have yet been announced, but some omissions feel notable. For the 2023MY, the Tremor came standard with a Coyote V8 that churns out 400 hp (298 kW/405 PS) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque.
Ford has confirmed that as in 2023, the 2024 F-150 Raptor will come with a high-output 3.5-liter V6 that makes 450 hp (335 kW/456 PS) and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm). Meanwhile, power figures for the Raptor R have not yet been announced, but Ford has confirmed that a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 will go under its hood. For 2023, the engine makes 700 hp (522 kW/710 PS) and 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque.
The 2024 Ford F-150 will go on sale on in early 2024. Pricing information is expected at a later date.
