While the Munich Motor Show is slowly coming to a close, the excitement is ramping up in the Motor City as the Detroit Auto Show begins today, September 13th, with its press day.
Trucks will be front and center as the facelifted Ford F-150 will be joined by the updated Jeep Gladiator. . This is evident from Jeep’s teaser, which hints at an “adventure in tow.” In addition to the not-so-subtle allusion to towing, we can catch a glimpse of what seems to be a truck bed.
We’ll have the full details later today, but the 2024 Gladiator will follow in the footsteps of the facelifted Wrangler. It debuted at the New York Auto Show with a slimmer seven-slot grille, a ‘stealth’ antenna, restyled wheels, and an updated color palette.

Some of the most noticeable changes occur in the cabin as the Wrangler sports an updated dash and an all-new 12.3-inch infotainment system. They’re joined by new soft-touch accents and additional equipment.
In particular, the Wrangler Willys now comes standard with a rear locker and larger 33-inch tires. The Rubicon, on the other hand, has a next-generation Dana 44 HD full-float rear axle and a newly available 8,000 lb (3,629 kg) Warn winch. There’s also a new Rubicon X, which sports steel bumpers and standard 35-inch tires.
A number of these upgrades will likely be found on the facelifted Gladiator, but we’ll find out soon enough. We’ll also be on hand to bring you live pictures from the show.
