Peugeot has confirmed that the E-3008 will debut on September 12 and has provided us with a glimpse of the vehicle in a teaser video shared on social media. While it’s unclear why Peugeot decided not to premiere the model at the ongoing Munich Motor Show, it is still shaping up to be quite a compelling vehicle.
The video shows details of the E-3008’s exterior and its interior and as we have come to expect from Peugeot, it will be quite striking. For starters, we know that it will adopt a sleek coupe-SUV shape and that the front end with be characterized by LED headlights and daytime running lights. This teaser also shows the E-3008 will have a pronounced black front grille with blue accents and the new Peugeot badge.
A handful of E-3008 prototypes have been snapped up close in recent months and also reveal that the new vehicle will rock a spoiler stretching out from the roof and LED taillights. Then there’s the cabin.

The carmaker was kind enough to unveil the interior of the E-3008 back in early June. Immediately catching the eye is the 21-inch curved display housing both the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen. The electric SUV will also come equipped with a head-up display and be joined by an additional screen used to control key media and climate functions. As with other Peugeot models, a small steering wheel will also come standard while the center console will house two cupholders, a wireless charging pad, and a small scroll wheel for adjusting media volume. A complex ambient lighting system will also make the cabin of the E-3008 stand out.
Underpinning the new SUV will be Stellantis’s STLA Medium platform. Technical specifications aren’t yet known but it is expected to be offered with three different powertrains, one of which will have two motors and all-wheel drive. The most range-focused model should be able to travel as far as 435 miles (700 km) on a single charge.
