The G80 BMW M3 and M4 courted a lot of controversy when they were first unveiled because of their oversized kidney grilles but over time, we’ve grown accustomed to them and don’t find them as offensive as we once did. In fact, it took us a little while to even notice the grilles while looking at photos of this G80 M3, recently outfitted with a set of wheels from Strasse.
This M3 is finished in Isle of Man Green, the original launch color of the G80 model. This paint is quite dramatic and for as good as it looks in photos, it looks even better in the flesh. Then we have the wheels.
These rims are known as the SV10M-RS Deep Concave FS and measure 20×10 at the front and 20×11 at the rear. The spokes have a satin black finish while the lip and barrel are finished in gloss black. BMW offers a handful of different wheel designs for the M3 from the factory and these aren’t too dissimilar from the ‘1000M’ wheels that the sports sedan was launched with.

A suspension lowering kit has also been installed to give the car a slightly more menacing stance on the road.
While it doesn’t seem like that long since the G80 M3 was unveiled, the car manufacturer recently confirmed that both the M3 and M4 will receive a facelift in 2024. A handful of prototypes have been spied testing in recent months, revealing that the updates will be primarily limited to revised front and rear fascias, including the headlights and taillights. It is not yet known if BMW is planning any upgrades to the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder, but it could receive a small bump in power.
