Sigala Designs first came across our desks in mid-2021 when it unveiled a dramatic bodykit for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray known as the C8RR. The kit was as outlandish and over-the-top as they come and now, the tuner has turned its attention to the C8 Z06, creating what it says is the world’s first Z06 with a forged carbon fiber body.
In creating its bodykit, the tuner first had to remove all of the original body panels, including the doors, leaving nothing but a bare shell and a Corvette with only its interior and mechanical components.
The tuner then set about re-creating each and every part of the ‘Vette’s exterior in forged carbon fiber. It is unclear how long this process took but the results speak for themselves. The forged carbon fiber produced by Sigala Designs is much more striking than other forged carbons we’ve seen in the past and the lighter-colored fibers really stand out. Is that a good thing? We’ll let you be the judge of that.

A look at the Sigala Designs website doesn’t mention if it plans to offer its complete forged carbon fiber bodykit to customers. If it does, we suspect it will be very expensive. As it stands, the tuner is selling a forged carbon fiber aero package for the Corvette Z06 that includes a high rear wing, new side skirts, a revised front splitter, and carbon fiber canards for $6,999.
Plenty of other accessories and add-ons are available for the Corvette. These include a Lamborghini-style scissor door conversion, a carbon fiber engine cover, carbon fiber side air intake surrounds, and smoked taillights, a subtle upgrade that has a transformative effect on the overall look of America’s finest mid-engined supercar.
