Ford Performance Parts is giving us a treat with their new supercharger package for the 2024 Mustang.
Available on models equipped with a 5.0-liter V8, the package will be launched early next year and include a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, high flow fuel injectors, billet high flow fuel rails, and a 92mm throttle body. They’ll be joined by a dual air intake, an oversized heat exchanger, a high flow intercooler pump, and “patented dual air pass, dual water pass, dual intercooler technology.” Rounding out the highlights are high flow air filters and a Tomahawk V2 flash tool with a data logging capability.
Thanks to the extensive modifications, the engine will be able to produce at least 800 hp (597 kW / 811 PS). To put that number into perspective, the Mustang GT has 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) while models equipped with the active-valve performance exhaust have 486 hp (362 kW / 493 PS).

Ford said the supercharger kit has been tested to meet their durability standards and comes with a three year or 36,000 mile (57,936 km) warranty. It’s also CARB compliant when installed by a dealer or ASE-certified technician. The automaker also noted a Dark Horse-specific supercharger kit is coming in the near future.
Customers looking for more extensive upgrades can look forward to the new FP800S package, which is technically a concept at this point, but is slated to go into production. It includes the aforementioned supercharger as well as a street lowering kit and a Ford Performance half-shaft upgrade kit.
The package is designed for the 2024 Mustang GT Coupe and customers will be able to order it online or at dealerships. They can also order carbon fiber exterior accents and a Borla Extreme cat-back exhaust with 5-inch (127 mm) tips.
