Prices for the 2024 Honda Passport are, unsurprisingly, rising as compared to a year ago. Although the model is mostly a carryover from 2023, it sees a few choice updates, including a new Black Edition trim and an improved TrailSport trim that adds more capability.
As before, the 2024 Passport lineup starts with the EX-L trim. It comes with standard leather seating, a moon roof, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels, and all-wheel-drive. Prices start at $43,275 (including $1,375 destination charge), which is $830 more than the 2023 model.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Passport TrailSport trim starts at $45,875 (incl. $1,375 destination charge), which is $930 more than it did in 2023. However, for the new model year, it gets 18-inch wheels wrapped General Grabber A/Tx tires, bespoke springs, shocks, and anti-roll bars that it didn’t get a year ago. That might make this the bargain of the lineup this year.

Finally, the top of the line trim this year will be called the Black Edition, not the Elite trim. It gets exclusive styling elements like 20-inch wheels and special badging. Inside, it gets red contrast stitching on the ventilated front seats and the heated rear seats. It starts at $49,345 (incl. $1,375 destination charge), which $1,440 more than the Elite trim cost in 2023.
Regardless of what trim level buyers opt for, the 2024 Honda Passport will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 280 hp (209 kW/284 PS). It’s hooked up to a nine-speed automatic transmission, and offers up to 5,000 lbs of towing capacity.
For buyers who want a little more (and don’t mind spending a little extra), Honda Performance Development is offering a revised set of aftermarket parts for the Passport. They include a unique grille treatment, black fender flares, and aggressive 20-inch wheels for the EX-L and Black Edition trims, and 18-inch wheels for the TrailSport.
“With more rugged off-road performance than ever before, the 2024 Honda Passport builds on our legacy of engineering rugged, capable and comfortable SUVs for active, weekend adventurers,” said Lance Woelfer, assistance vice president of Honda National Auto Sales. “Passport also has more buyers under 35 than key competitors in the segment.”
