Audi introduced the 2024 Q8 and SQ8 earlier this year, and now the automaker has announced U.S. pricing will begin at $73,700.

Costing $900 more than its predecessor, the facelifted crossover will arrive at U.S. dealerships early next year and sport an updated design as well as access to an app store.

The changes are fairly extensive and include a new front fascia with a revised grille, sportier intakes, and Matrix-design LED headlights. Buyers will also find updated wheels, “dynamic exhaust outlets,” and a revised color palette that includes Ascari Blue and Sakhir Gold.

Delving into specifics, the entry-level Q8 Premium has aluminum roof rails, a power liftgate, and 21-inch wheels. Buyers will also find a panoramic sunroof and LED taillights with dynamic turn signals.

Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, and an 8.6-inch lower display. They’re joined by heated leather seats, a leatherette-wrapped dashboard, and a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel. Buyers will also find a tri-zone climate control system, HomeLink, and Gray Oak wood trim.

The Q8 Premium Plus starts at $77,800 and it has a classier cabin with heated and ventilated front seats, a four-zone automatic climate control system, and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system. They’re joined by illuminated door sill plates and a multi-color ambient lighting system.

The $81,800 Q8 Prestige ups the ante with Valcona leather front seats that feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The model also has a head-up display, an adaptive air suspension, remote park assist plus, and HD Matrix-design LED headlights with Audi laser light technology.

Regardless of which trim is selected, all Q8s are powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the crossover to run from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.5 seconds.

SQ8 Has 500 HP For $96,600

Buyers looking for more performance can opt for the SQ8, which climbs from $95,500 to $96,600. It features many of the same updates as the Q8, but the performance variant is distinguished by a honeycomb grille, a four-tailpipe exhaust system, and larger 22-inch wheels.

The sporty styling continues in the cabin as the model has heated Valcona leather seats with diamond stitching and S embossing. They’re joined by matte carbon fiber trim and stainless steel pedals.

Moving up to the $103,600 SQ8 Prestige rewards buyers with unique OLED taillights that offer four different lighting signatures. The model also has power soft-closing doors and a handful of aforementioned upgrades.

Both versions of the SQ8 are powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, which develops 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 568 lb-ft (769 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system. 60 mph (96 km/h) comes in four seconds flat, while the model will top out at 155 mph (250 km/h) if you push it.

Besides the V8, the SQ8 is notable for being equipped with a sport-tuned air suspension, all-wheel steering, and beefier front brakes that are 1 inch (25 mm) larger than those found on the Q8.
