Earlier this year, Chevrolet announced that 2024 will be the final model year for the sixth-generation Camaro. Unfortunately, that also means that tuners like Hennessey will soon run out of (brand-new) donor cars.

As a result, Hennessey today announced that its 1,000 hp (746 kW/1,014 PS) take on the Camaro, the Exorcist, is going out of production. As a final goodbye to the car, the tuner has created a “Final Edition” version limited to just 57 examples in honor of the Camaro’s 57 years of existence.

Each example will feature a special Final Edition graphic on the exterior showing the specific car’s placement in the run. In addition, it will have a “Final Edition X of 57” serial number plaque in the engine bay.

After all, that’s where the Exorcist’s most impressive upgrades can be found. As ever, the Final Edition model will be powered by Chevrolet’s 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 that has been tuned heavily by Hennessey.

Upgrades include a larger supercharger, a high-flow air induction system, and an upgraded auxiliary fuel system. It also gets ported cylinder heads, custom HPE camshafts, as well as upgraded valves, valve springs, retainers, lifters, and pushrods.

The result is a 54 percent power increase and a 49 percent torque boost over the stock engine. Or, put another way, the engine churns out 1,000 hp (746 kW/1,014 PS) and 966 lb-ft (1,309 Nm) of torque.

“Our comprehensive upgrade to the Camaro ZL1 is one of my all-time favorites,” said CEO John Hennessey. “The chassis, suspension, and powerplant work seamlessly together, so all the driver experiences is raw, unbridled horsepower. There’s nothing else like our EXORCIST, so we’re eager to share this special limited edition with fans of this iconic car before it’s gone forever.”
