The Los Angeles Auto Show is getting a double dose of Gravity as Lucid has announced plans to introduce their electric crossover on November 16.
Set to go into production late next year, the model is being billed as a “true force of nature” and an “ultra high-performance luxury SUV.”
We’ll learn full details next month, but the Gravity promises to be the most aerodynamic crossover on the market. The automaker has also said the model will have an extra-large frunk and a “clamshell rear opening [that] offers effortless access and [a] cavernous cargo space.”

Speaking of the interior, Lucid has said the crossover will have a “sanctuary-like” cabin with the “finest appointments.” Details are limited, but the model is slated to offer five, six, and seven seat configurations. We can also expect an expansive glass roof and lounge-like second-row seats.
Performance specifications remain a mystery, but Lucid has said the Gravity will have a “range beyond anything else on the market” except the Air. The latter model is notable for having an EPA range of up to 516 miles (830 km).
Getting back to the crossover, it will have bi-directional charging, an optional towing capability, and a “compliant, sports-tuned air suspension.” The automaker also noted the Gravity “embodies everything we’ve learned in creating … Air, and advances that vision to reimagine what an SUV can offer.”
