Soon after Honda unveiled the new 2024 N-Box in Japan, Mugen has released a plethora of visual and performance-focused upgrades for the new kei car.
Two versions of the new N-Box have been unveiled, the standard model and the N-Box Custom with more premium design elements. Mugen has worked its magic on both of them, first developing an aerodynamics package for the regular N-Box that adds a pronounced front lip spoiler (¥66,000 painted / $441) and a front grille accent (¥35,200 painted / $235) available in either white or black.
Mugen’s updates for the N-Box continue with a set of more pronounced side skirts for ¥66,000 ($441) when painted or ¥55,000 ($367) if left unpainted. Those wanting a slightly more subtle front fascia can opt for a simple splitter for ¥39,600 ($265).

Mugen’s upgrades for the N-Box Custom are similar and include a ¥66,000 ($441) front spoiler, ¥66,000 ($441) side skirts, and a ¥77,000 ($514) rear under spoiler. A ¥39,600 ($265) front splitter is also offered as is a new front grille garnish and rear spoiler garnish.
Both the N-Box and N-Box Custom can then be fitted with Mugen’s wind deflectors for ¥24,750 ($165), wheels costing between ¥29,700 ($198) and ¥31,900 ($213), various carbon fiber exterior accents, and numerous different exterior decals.
Mugen hasn’t forgotten about the cabins of the duo either and is offering three different floor mats, including one that’s finished in bright red. Luggage mats are also available for the rear cargo area as are scuff plates on the doors and sills.
No mechanical upgrades are on offer at this stage. However, Mugen has introduced a performance air filter for ¥16,500 ($110), new caps for the radiator and oil filler, and is selling a performance oil filter.
