The Tesla Cybertruck is inching ever closer to the driveways of customers but much about the electric pickup truck remains unknown. Fortunately, a new video has provided us with our best view yet of the Cybertruck’s interior thus far while also showcasing the custom UI used by the infotainment display.
It remains unclear how the individual who filmed this Cybertruck was able to get access to it but we can see that Tesla has made a number of alterations to the infotainment software compared to their other models. For starters, we can see that the UI has new icons with sharp edges and that there is now a subtle visual fade from the left half of the screen showing important vehicle functions to the right side of the screen where the navigation is found.

Those familiar with current Tesla vehicles will also notice that the icon tray has been moved from the bottom to the left side of the screen. Tesla has also updated the battery icon and much like the Model S and Model X, as well as the updated Model 3, we can see that the gear selector is found on the upper left corner of the screen.
This clip doesn’t just show the new UI. We also get an unimpeded view of the flat-bottom and flat-top steering wheel as well as the two wireless charging pads. A pair of angular cupholders are also visible as is the massive panoramic glass roof. The video also shows the Cybertruck’s sunvisor which appears to lack a mirror.
This isn’t the only piece of Cybertruck-related news to come across our desks. A series of social media posts have also recently emerged that show a Cybertruck prototype at SpaceX’s StarBase in Texas. In the video, the Cybertruck can be seen towing part of a Raptor rocket engine. Some sources speculate that Tesla could be filming some promotional content for the Cybertruck at SpaceX’s facility.
