Well, let’s face it, when it comes to Ford Mustangs, roadside shenanigans are about as common as your morning caffeine fix. So, it was hardly a jaw-dropping moment when a recent escapade unfolded in San Bernardino, California, featuring a revamped fifth-gen Mustang. Our collective reaction? A resounding, “Yep, there we go again!”.
The peculiar incident unfolded on Thursday, September 28, around 7 p.m. right on Pico Street in the heart of San Bernardino. And luckily for us, the entire sequence of events leading up to this collision was caught on CCTV by a vigilant neighbor, who promptly shared the spectacle on YouTube via OnScene TV.

The silver Ford seemed to be traveling at an excessive speed prior to the accident. As the driver approached the Stop sign positioned at an intersection, they applied the brakes abruptly. However, the limited space available for braking resulted in the car making two consecutive jumps as it collided with the road’s edges.
Following a brief period of being airborne, the Ford Mustang smashed into the wall of the Grand Terrace house, resulting in considerable damage. Fortunately, no individuals were near the house, and the occupants inside the building escaped unharmed. Furthermore, there were no vehicles approaching from the intersection, mitigating the risk of a potentially fatal collision.
According to KTLA, the driver walked out of the wrecked muscle car and refused medical treatment at the scene. Hopefully, he learned his lesson and will try to obey traffic laws next time he gets behind the wheel. On a side note, it appears that the Mustang is beyond repair, given the extensive damage to the front end, the dislocated rear bumper, and significant underbody damage resulting from the jumps.
