The e-tron GT has been on the market for a few years, so Audi is preparing a facelift for the electric sports sedan.
Multiple prototypes were recently spied undergoing testing and each features a new front bumper with revised intakes. As you can see, the facelifted variant eschews vertical air curtains and horizontal bars for larger intakes with honeycomb mesh inserts.
Additional changes are limited, but we can see a new rear bumper and a more aggressive diffuser. The side skirts and lower door trim are also camouflaged, which suggests they could be updated as well.
While the lighting units appear to carryover from the current model, these are early prototypes and we wouldn’t be surprised if the facelifted variant adopts new head- and taillights. We can also expect updated wheels and, possibly, a revised color palette.

Spy photographers didn’t get a look inside, but the 2024 e-tron GT received additional standard equipment and an updated infotainment system with access to an app store. The latter enables owners to download third-party apps such as Spotify, TikTok, and The Weather Channel.
Little is known about performance upgrades at this point, but the current model has a 93.4 kWh battery pack that powers a dual-motor all-wheel drive system developing up to 523 hp (390 kW / 530 PS). This setup enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.9 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 152 mph (245 km/h).
The RS e-tron GT has 637 hp (475 kW / 646 PS) and this lowers the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time to 3.1 seconds. The top speed also climbs to 155 mph (250 km/h).
While the performance is impressive, the cars only have an EPA range of 249 miles (401 km). Audi will likely try to improve that number and hopefully they can replicate their success with the Q8 e-tron. As you may recall, the crossover’s range went from 226 to 285 miles (364 to 459 km) as part of its facelift and renaming. Of course, we’ll likely get a better idea of what to expect when Porsche introduces the facelifted Taycan.
