Genesis has introduced the 2025 GV80 and GV80 Coupe, ahead of their North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Since we’ve already seen the models before, we’ll focus on U.S. specifications and note the GV80 Coupe sports an eye-catching design as well as exclusive 20- and 22-inch wheels. Buyers will also find a unique rear end with an angular window and a pronounced spoiler.
The facelifted GV80 has a revised grille and a new front bumper with larger intakes. They’re joined by a faux skid plate and new chrome trim. Additional changes are limited, but the crossover adopts a new rear bumper, a hidden exhaust, and restyled wheels.

The changes continue inside as drivers will find a new dashboard and a 27-inch OLED display. They’re joined by a new center console with larger cup holders as well as a fancier shifter with a “crystal-like” design.
Other highlights include a redesigned wireless smartphone charger, physical volume and tuning knobs, and a more traditional three-spoke steering wheel. Buyers will also find improved pedals, while the coupe has “exclusive patterns and stitching.”
The GV80 will be offered with two different engines including a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS). It will be joined by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 developing 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS).
The GV80 Coupe will also be offered with two different engines including a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with an electric supercharger. This setup enables the mill to produce 409 hp (305 kW / 415 PS).
Genesis didn’t say what the entry-level variant would use, but it’s presumably the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. That remains to be seen, but the four-cylinder is the base engine in other markets. That being said, we’ll learn specifications and pricing next year.
