You’d be forgiven for thinking Karma Automotive was dead, but the brand is trying to reinvent themselves with the all-new Kaveya.
Unveiled over the weekend, the Kaveya is designed to be an exclusive, advanced, and desirable “super coupe GT.” Karma President Marques McCammon also said he wants the car and other future products to ‘reignite your love affair with automobiles.’
Unfortunately, it’s style over substance as the company didn’t say much about the car. However, the coupe shown in Las Vegas was a “full functioning prototype” with a sleek carbon fiber body that combines soft curves and taut surfaces.

Karma Kaveya
Karma didn’t go into many specifics, but confirmed the model has hidden headlights that recall the pop-up units from the past. However, on the Kaveya, they’re hidden behind a door that slides “inboard behind the hood” to expose them. Speaking of lights, the car has a “target” lighting signature as the brake lights and rear daytime running lights sort of resemble a reticle on a scope.
Other highlights include a rakish windscreen, a glass roof, and what appears to be a retractable rear wing. We can also see 19-inch wheels that are aerodynamically optimized and wrapped in Michelin tires.
In terms of size, the model measures 187.7 inches (4,768 mm) long, 78.8 inches (2,002 mm) wide, and 49.4 inches (1255 mm) tall with a wheelbase that spans 107 inches (2,718 mm). To put those numbers into perspective, the Kaveya is 4.1 inches (104 mm) shorter than the BMW M8 and has 4.3 inches (109 mm) less between the wheels. The EV is also wider and is 4.2 inches (107 mm) lower.

Karma claims the car will have all-wheel drive as well as a combined output of 1,180 hp (880 kW / 1,196 PS) and 1,270 lb-ft (1,720 Nm) of torque. They went on to suggest the roughly 5,300 lb (2,404 kg) coupe will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in less than three seconds and hit a top speed of around 180 mph (290 km/h).
Power comes from a 120 kWh battery pack, which promises to deliver a range in excess of 250 miles (402 km). The automaker was vague on additional details, but said the car will be able to go from a 10-80% charge in 45 minutes.
Production will be limited and Karma said “as of this moment, there are only 353 remaining.” The automaker is currently accepting reservations in exchange for $10,000.
Upcoming Gyesera Teased, Updated Revero Also Inbound

Besides introducing the Kaveya, Karma released a teaser for the upcoming Gyesera. It will apparently be more affordable and less exclusive as the company suggested at least 2,125 units will be available.
It’s billed as Karma’s “first full BEV touring sedan” and it will have aluminum as well as carbon fiber body panels. The model is also slated to measure 199.9 inches (5,077 mm) long with a wheelbase that spans 124.4 inches (3,160 mm).
On the performance front, the company says the car will have a combined output of 590 hp (440 kW / 598 PS) and 693 lb-ft (939 Nm) of torque. Karma says this should enable the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in less than 4.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed in excess of 135 mph (217 km/h). The automaker went on to say the Gyesera will have a 120 kWh battery pack that provides more than 250 miles (402 km) of range.
The model is slated to arrive late next year and have an 11.6-inch infotainment system. However, before it lands, an updated version of the Revero will arrive in the third-quarter of 2024
The flagship Kaveya is even farther out as an entry-level variant is slated to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2025 with rear-wheel drive and 536 hp (400 kW / 543 PS). The range-topping model is then scheduled to follow one year later.
