Mansory is no stranger to the latest generation of the S-Class by Mercedes and Maybach, having previously presented tuning packages for both flagship sedans. Its latest offering is different, though, as it builds on the electrified Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance, resulting in supercar-rivaling performance figures. Mansory upgraded the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model with a redesigned bodykit, larger wheels, a re-upholstered interior, while giving it a power boost.

The S 63 E Performance sets itself apart from other Mansory S-Class builds thanks to a unique bodykit. Notable highlights include the redesigned grille with larger cooling openings, the carbon-fiber bonnet featuring Naca ducts, custom daytime running lights (DRLs), oversized side gills, and more pronounced bumper extensions. An optional F1-style brake light is available for the rear diffuser, while the sports exhaust system features quad tailpipes as standard.

Mansory claims that these modifications contribute to increased downforce, although we’re not sure if anyone will push this monster on the track. Last but not least, the Type FD.15 Black Diamond forged alloy wheels measure 22 inches in diameter.

The cabin is re-upholstered in high-quality leather, with various available colors for the seams matching the exterior color. Other interior upgrades include aluminum pedals, carbon inlays, and branded floor mats.

Quicker And More Powerful Than A Supercar

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance is the most powerful version of the S-Class, as the PHEV powertrain makes 791 hp (590 kW / 802 PS) and 1,055 lb-ft (1,430 Nm) of torque right from the factory. Mansory bumps those numbers to an even more impressive 868 hp (647 kW / 880 PS) and 1,490 Nm (1,099 lb-ft), by tuning the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 rather than messing up with the electric motor.

According to the tuner, the executive sedan completes the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in an Aventador-beating 2.8 seconds (-0.5 seconds), while the top speed is 320 km/h (199 mph)

At a princely starting price of €208,393 ($228,908), the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance is already a luxury treat. If you’re interested, brace yourself, as the Mansory modifications won’t be pocket change either.
