The Lexus LBX has just been made a little more expressive thanks to a series of styling upgrades developed by Modellista. None of the custom touches are particularly dramatic but that’s probably a good thing as a sub-compact SUV like the LBX is already quite the looker.
Modellista‘s first upgrades for the LBX consist of a new front bumper extension, side skirts, and a rear bumper add-on. These tweaks come as part of the Advanced Luxury Package and add new high-gloss silver trim to the bumpers and the skirts. Were Lexus to ever build an ‘F Sport’ version of the LBX, we imagine it could look a little like this.
The Toyota-owned accessory company has also crafted a small piece of silver trim that can be attached to the front quarter panel, just behind the headlights. Additionally, a curved silver trim can also be added to the tailgate and sits right below the LED light bar.

The most overt upgrade available from Modellista is a special set of 19-inch wheels. These wheels have silver spokes and suit the LBX perfectly.
Underpinning the Lexus LBX is Toyota’s GA-B architecture and it is unique from other Lexus products as it will be sold solely as a hybrid. The entry-level model has a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, two electric motors, and front-wheel drive while the flagship variant uses three electric motors and has all-wheel drive. Total output sits at 134 hp and 136 lb-ft (185 Nm) of torque, allowing the tiny SUV to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 9.2 seconds.
Lexus has outfitted the LBX with an impressively premium cabin. Key features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9.8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, ambient leather, and the option of semi-aniline leather and Ultrasuede.
