The Japan Mobility Show only just wrapped up in Tokyo, Japan and already, the city is gearing up for another major automotive show with the Tokyo Auto Salon to be held in January.

Each year, the event attracts a dizzying array of tuners who bring their latest and greatest creations and one of the first to preview its plans for the event is Rowen International. The company is currently working on a bodykit for the Lexus NX F-Sport to make it a little more aggressive without going over the top, a trap that so many tuners fall into.

The tuner is starting things at the front end. Few would argue that the massive spindle grille of the NX already makes it quite a head-turner so Rowen International has left it alone and instead designed a new lip spoiler for the bumper, helping to lower the front end of the SUV. The tuner has also molded some striking black-colored add-ons that sit between the front air intakes and the headlights to give the NX an extra dose of personality.

Work continues down the sides of the Lexus where there are a unique set of black and silver wheels as well as attractive new skirts with small aerodynamic flics at the rear. Rounding out the alterations is a bold new diffuser and bumper with quad exhaust outlets complemented by some small add-ons higher up on the bumper. An enlarged roof spoiler is also visible.

Work on the changes is still in its early stages and Rowen International has only made clay molds of the new parts. When the upgrades are ready for prime time, they will give NX owners a great option to make their SUVs stand out.
