Tesla chief executive Elon Musk loves a bit of free promotion and during Joe Rogan’s recent podcast with Dwayne Johnson, that’s exactly what he got.
During their nearly 3-hour discussion, Johnson brought up the topic of cars, likely knowing that Rogan is quite the car enthusiast. When asked what is his go-to daily driver, Rogan responded saying it was his Tesla Model S Plaid and that he absolutely loves it. Johnson then asks whether Tesla makes an SUV or a pickup truck before Rogan turns the discussion to the Cybertruck.
Musk was recently a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and allowed Rogan to see it up close. He even let him shoot an arrow at the door. Rogan appears enamored by the controversial design of the electric pickup and happily promotes it to Johnson, who claims he had never even heard about the Cybertruck, let alone seen photos of it.
Unsurprisingly, the clip shared to X by Musk doesn’t capture the full conversation between Rogan and Johnson. Shortly after discussing his love for Tesla, Rogan goes on to talk about some of the crazier combustion-powered vehicles in his collection, including a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda he owns with a 750 hp Mercury V8. The comedian also reveals that he owns a 1,000 hp Ram 1500 TRX tuned by Hennessey and briefly talks about the modified 80-Series Toyota Land Cruiser he has with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pumping out 560 hp.

Johnson has long been affiliated with Ford and owned a wide array of vehicles from the Blue Oval over the years. A few months ago, he took delivery of a Ford F-150 Raptor R and has gifted a host of F-150s to friends and family members.
