Chinese car manufacturer Zeekr has teased its next model in the form of an all-electric sedan known as the 007.
Zeekr, owned by Geely, has made quite a name for itself over the past couple of years with the release of the 001 Shooting Brake, the 009 MPV, and the X SUV. Each of these vehicles stands out from the competition with their intriguing designs and it appears as though the 007 will do the same, appearing to adopt a sleek yet sporty design that looks quite distinct from the firm’s other models.
A teaser of the front end shows that the sedan will have two thin LED light bars and an illuminated badge while positioned below these light bars are two smaller LEDs. A shot of the car’s side profile isn’t particularly telling but the presence of a lump above the windshield indicates it has been equipped with a LiDAR. Visible at the rear is an LED light bar, an illuminated Zeekr emblem, and a particularly flowing and curvaceous decklid.

Car News China reports the Zeekr 007 will measure 4,865 mm (191.5 inches) long, 1,900 mm (74.8 inches) wide, and stand 1,450 mm (57 inches) tall with a 2,928 mm (115.2-inch) wheelbase. It will be underpinned by the Geely and Volvo PMA2+ platform with an 800-volt architecture and include double-wishbone suspension.
Zeekr is tipped to sell the 007 with a single electric motor rated at 204 hp and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque, although it is not yet known if this model will be front- or rear-wheel drive. Regardless, it will apparently accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a swift 6.5 seconds and take approximately 30 minutes to fully charge. Details regarding its battery pack are not yet known.
The carmaker will commence pre-sales of the 007 at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 17 but pricing has not yet been confirmed.
