A few months ago, images started to circulate online of a red Lamborghini Urus undergoing a dramatic transformation and being turned into a 6×6. At the time, very few images or videos of the car were available but the crazy SUV has recently been filmed up close by a pair of YouTubers and looks to be nearly complete.
The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 from a decade ago arguably started the ongoing trend of 6×6 conversions thanks to its sheer absurdity. Conversions like this have proven particularly popular among certain pickup truck buyers with companies including Hennessey selling complete packages for vehicles like the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500.
The creator of this beast is reportedly South Florida Jeeps, the same folks behind Apocalypse6x6. They’ve crafted a slew of custom 6×6 builds over the years, including modified Wranglers, Ford Broncos, and even Land Rover Defenders.

Immediately making this Urus even crazier than those pickups is the simple fact that this is, well, a Lamborghini, meaning it is very, very expensive and the owner must have an exorbitant amount of money to willingly overhaul it to the point where the modifications are not reversible and the SUV’s value has probably taken a huge hit.
Since we last saw it, some additional work on the SUV has been done. looks to have completed the bodywork, extending the roofline and stretching the rear half to allow for the fitment of a third axle and two additional wheels. The fender flares are slightly wider than those of an ordinary Urus and the rear end has also been equipped with a new diffuser, a lip spoiler, and an additional spoiler stretching out from the roof.
The Lamborghini has also been fitted with a set of aftermarket gloss black wheels and makes a huge statement. The full list of mechanical modifications made to it remains a mystery and we don’t yet know whether the third axle is driven or if it is simply there for aesthetic purposes.
What’s your take on this Urus 6×6? A masterpiece or a magnificent catastrophe?
