Brabus is not limited to modifying the AMG-branded performance flagships of the Mercedes lineup, as proven by its latest tuning project which is tailored for the more humble GLC 300 4Matic. The new generation of the premium midsize SUV benefits from revised aero, larger alloy wheels, and more power from the 2.0-liter turbo engine thanks to an ECU upgrade.
Brabus’s bodykit for the GLC is compatible with the AMG Line version that already features a more aggressive design. The tuner added carbon-fiber inserts (glossy or matte) around the bumper intakes on both ends, a rear spoiler extension made of high-grade polyurethane, a new grille garnish, and Brabus emblems.

The most notable change is the larger diameter ten-spoke Monoblock Z forged wheels which claim to improve handling and responsiveness. Of course, this is only one of the many available designs from the German tuner. Changes are less extensive inside the cabin, where we find a pair of Brabus-branded scuff plates, aluminum pedals, and velour mats.
The GLC 300 4Matic is fitted with a mild-hybrid turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 255 hp (190 kW / 258 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque in stock form. Thanks to the addition of the Brabus PowerXtra B30 Performance Upgrade, the mill churns out a healthier 296 hp (221 kW/ 300 PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. Those numbers make the Brabus-tuned SUV more powerful than all of the non-AMG trims of the GLC. The company doesn’t mention any chassis modifications, meaning that the vehicle retains its stock suspension and brakes.
Brabus didn’t announce pricing for the GLC upgrades which is available upon request. We guess that the tuner will soon unveil a more extensive package for the full-blown AMG versions of the Mercedes GLC.
