There are so many Porsche 911 restomods out that it’s difficult to choose a favorite. However, if we had to pick, this latest 993 Speedster Remastered from Gunther Werks would have to be up there at the very top of our list.
Gunther Werks unveiled the Speedster Remastered at the 2021 edition of Monterey Car Week and is building just 25 examples. This car was built for a client in Texas and is painted in a color known as Cameron Blue. The royal shade of blue looks phenomenal and has been complemented with matching blue wheels with chrome outer rims.

In creating each 993 Speedster, Gunther Werks crafts lightweight body panels out of carbon fiber. These include flared front and rear wheel arches and new rollover hoops directly behind the headrests. It also rocks a massive ducktail spoiler, blue brake calipers, and wing mirrors with a brushed silver finish.
The individual who commissioned the car clearly loves the color blue as the interior has also been bathed in blue Alcantara across the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, and gear shifter boot. A pair of stunning carbon fiber-backed bucket seats, a carbon fiber dashboard with custom gauges, and a carbon fiber steering wheel complete the image of a stunning interior.
Powering the car is a 4.0-liter flat-six built by Rothsport Racing which makes more than 435 hp and 335 lb-ft (454 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to an upgraded version of the 993’s original Getrag manual transmission.
Unsurprisingly, all 25 examples of the droptop were accounted for shortly after the car’s unveiling. Each carries a sticker price of around $850,000.
