The lot at a dealership can be both a practical necessity and a space to advertise new vehicles. But, when you think about it, the vehicles there are also kind of vulnerable, as one Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealer in Texas recently discovered.
Video of the aftermath of an accident that appears to have occurred at Autonation CJDR Katy, shows the destruction caused by a vehicle that crashed into at least seven Dodge Challengers.
Unfortunately, the circumstances that led to the accident have not emerged yet, but we have reached out to both the dealership and the Katy, Texas, Police Department for more details. We will update this story when we hear back.

According to an Instagram video from @carsacrosstexas, the unidentified vehicle that caused the accident rolled eight times, damaging several vehicles along the way. The dealership is located next to US Highway 90, and the lot starts at the outlet of an off-ramp, which may help explain how a vehicle generated enough speed and force to leave this trail of destruction.
In the video, a divot in the grass strip that separates the dealership from the road can be seen, and several red bollards appear to have been mown down. That may suggest that the rolling started there, where a wheel may have dug into the ground.
A green Challenger, the corner of whose hood is bent up, appears to have been the first vehicle hit. While there is damage to every car next to it, a blue Challenger three spots over appears to have taken the most damage, as its roof is completely caved in.
The damage to the trunk of another blue Challenger, a further three cars over, suggests that the vehicle that crashed into them continued to move towards the lot as it rolled. Unfortunately, neither the extent of the damage nor the condition of the driver, are clear at this point.
