The Hoonigan team has just launched the final Gymkhana film starring the late Ken Block, dubbed Electrikhana Two: One More Playground. It is filled with just as much sideways action as previous installments in the long-running series and has been released alongside Electrikhana Two: The Mexico City Sessions on YouTube.

Block’s final Gymkhana film was shot on the streets of Mexico City in November 2022, barely a month before he was tragically killed in a snowmobiling accident while on vacation with his family. Like the first installment in the Electrikhana series, this new one stars the Audi S1 Hoonitron and includes scenes filmed at the world’s largest bullring, Plaza de Toros México.

Hoonigan has revealed that a host of modifications were made to the S1 Hoonitron after filming ended the first Electrikhana video in Las Vegas. The engineering team from Audi Sport modified the drivetrain to better suit the style of driving needed in a film like this. Perhaps the biggest change made is the implementation of a simulated transmission that can be controlled with the paddle shifters, much like the system of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

The implementation of this simulated transmission has allowed for more controlled slides and precise donuts as a small press of the throttle no longer results in a dramatic and instantaneous increase in wheel speed. The car can now also perform standing all-wheel drive burnouts by spinning the front and rear wheels in different directions and can shift into reverse at any speed.

Beyond including scenes at the Plaza de Toros bullring, Electrikhana Two: One More Playground travels through other various areas of Mexico City, including the Museo Soumaya and a complex drifting session in and around the Benito Juárez International Airport.
