Lucid has just announced a series of updates to the all-electric Air sedan for the 2024 model year. Like the 2023 Air, the new range consists of the entry-level Air Pure followed by the Air Touring, Air Grand Touring, and Air Sapphire.
Prices for the 2024 Air Pure start at $77,400. It comes standard with an 88 kWh battery pack and an electric motor pushing out 430 hp, allowing it to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds. It retains the same 419-mile (674 km) range as last year’s model but can now be optioned with a Comfort & Convenience Package that adds a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, soft-close doors, four-zone climate control, and power rear window sunshades. Shoppers can also order 14-way or 20-way power front seats, front seats with ventilation and massage, and a new range of interior themes.
Next in the range is the Air Touring. This model has a larger 92 kWh battery pack providing it with 411 miles (661 km) of range alongside all-wheel drive and pumps out $85,900. It can rocket to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.4 seconds and now comes standard with 19-inch Aero Range wheels, PurLuxe leather-free upholstery, and 12-way power front seats. It can also be ordered with the same Comfort & Convenience Package as the Pure but also adds a power-operated frunk and heated precision wipers. Other new options include the same ventilated and massage seats as the Air Pur as well as a Fathom Blue paint scheme and premium natural grain and Nappa full-grain leather.

Lucid has not yet announced pricing for the 2024 Air Grand Touring, nor has it specified its range or battery capacity. What we do know is that it will be all-wheel drive, have 819 hp, and now comes standard with a body-colored aluminum roof, PurLuxe leather-free upholstery, and 12-way power front seats. Among the new options for 2024 include a Glass Canopy roof, 20-way power front seats with ventilated and massage functions, Fathom Blue paint, and an extended natural grain and Nappa full-grain leather upholstery package.
No changes have been made to the recently introduced Air Sapphire. As such, it continues to pack a tri-motor powertrain with 1,234 hp and can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 1.89 seconds, 100 mph (160 km/h) in 3.84 seconds, run the quarter-mile in 8.95 seconds, and hit a 205 mph (330 km/h) top speed. It starts at an eye-watering $249,000 and has a 427-mile range.
