Warning: This footage shows people getting hurt in a rollover accident. Viewer discretion is advised.

In southeast Colorado Springs, CO, an SUV flipped over after attempting a donut in reverse. It had five people hanging out of the windows when it went upside down. All five suffered life-threatening injuries and their current conditions are unknown.

Police arrested the driver, identified by news sources as Marisol Wentlinga, for reckless driving, as reported by KKTV. Remarkably, she didn’t sustain any injuries despite flipping her SUV. The police haven’t officially confirmed the details of the incident that took place in the southeast of Colorado Springs. However, the video footage that surfaced on social media (warning – link contains raw footage of the incident ) appears to shed more light on the situation.

Viewer discretion is advised as the video below shows a vehicle rolling onto individuals hanging out of the windows of this SUV. As it reverses it speeds up and the driver turns the wheel to the left. The vehicle begins to make a circle but ultimately can’t maintain grip and the whole vehicle tumbles. Of course, with five people hanging out of the windows, there’s nowhere for them to go as the SUV ends up on its roof and then on one side.

The incident happened around 10:15 pm on Saturday night according to the Colorado Springs Gazette in what some are calling a “side show.” While it’s plausible that such an event was taking place, little evidence is available to prove that. There aren’t any other vehicles engaging in this type of behavior on camera, the police haven’t confirmed it, and frankly, the scene doesn’t appear to be typical of such an event.

On top of all that, a GMC Terrain, which appears to be the SUV in question, isn’t exactly what would take center stage at any sideshow we’ve reported on in the past. Nevertheless, this is a grave reminder to stay away from terrible drivers, never hang out of the window of cars, and generally don’t do dumb stuff behind the wheel yourself.
