The Tokyo Auto Salon is a playground for local tuners and Kuhl showcased no less than 18 modified vehicles. Six of those are painted in an “Elegant Gold” shade but we’ll focus on the two which are the most visually intriguing – the Toyota Prius and the Nissan GT-R.
Starting with the Prius, the kit is a significantly wilder version of the one that is already offered by the tuner. The biggest difference is the wide front and rear fender extensions that do a pretty good job of blending with the rest of the bodywork.

The significantly wider stance is combined with a sharp-looking splitter, side sills, and an extravagant rear diffuser which are almost touching the ground thanks to the air suspension. The tail features extra vents and a rear spoiler that is rather discreet compared to the rest of the bodykit. The modified Prius rides on a new set of 20-inch Verz Racing VRF01R forged wheels shod in extremely stretched tires.
Moving on to the Nissan GT-R, this is the latest in a series of bodykits offered by Kuhl, this time based on the 2024 model. It might not be as extreme as the gold-engraved GT-R from 2016 but it is crazy enough to earn an honorable mention.

The new kit includes redesigned bumpers inspired by the lines of the 2024 Nissan GT-R. The fender extensions add 30 mm (1.2 inches) of width on each side and don’t require cutting the stock body panels for their placement. Their sharp lines extend on the prominent diffuser, side skirts, and rear bumper extension featuring integrated air channels and canards. There is also a new bonnet with a large scoop, a small spoiler on the tailgate, and four massive tailpipes mounted in the center.
The GT-R rides on a set of Verz-Kron E04 wheels, combined with a slammed air suspension. Finally, the interior is reupholstered in leather and is bathed in gold carbon accents. The company didn’t mention any performance modifications but we’re sure that owners who opt for such an extreme bodykit will surely tweak the powertrain to match the wild looks.
The Toyota Prius and the Nissan GT-R are joined by Kuhl’s take on the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire minivans, the Crown Crossover, and the entire Vrarva lineup including the Suzuki Hustler-based IO. Below you can see some of the modified vehicles arriving on the showroom floor at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon.
