Porsche wasted no time launching an online configurator for its first-ever electric Macan series right after their introductions. As is customary with all Porsche models, Macan EV customers will have access to one of the most extensive customization options in the market. However, we’re not convinced any of them can fix the generic and somewhat odd design.
Upon its launch, the Macan EV is available in two trims: the base 4 starting at $80,450 and the Turbo priced at $106,450. Both of these prices include a $1,650 destination fee.
In terms of paint finishes, Porsche offers four families of colors known as Contrasts, Shades, Dreams, and Legends. The first of those two consists of silvers, whites, and blacks while Dreams and Legends offer a handful of bright colors. We have gone with Papaya Metallic but the Gentian Blue Metallic also looks excellent.

Those who opt for the flagship Macan Turbo variant have no less than 9 different designs of wheels to choose from ranging from 20-inches to 22-inches. The $7,410 22-inch shoes with carbon fiber aero blades are the most expensive but the 22-inch Macan Exclusive Design Wheels and the 22-inch RS Spyder Design Wheels are available in a host of different finishes and can even be ordered to match the exterior color.
A bevy of different interior options are available too including black leather contrasted with brown, beige, or red leather. As you’d imagine, some look better than others and the black/red of the Macan EV we quickly whipped up doesn’t work well with the Papaya Metallic paint (surprise, surprise). Two different seat options are offered but unfortunately, shoppers will have to pay extra for heated seats at the rear and ventilated seats up front. A massage function is also a $1,300 extra.
For those curious, we embarked on a journey of ticking as many options as possible to explore the upper limits of customization for the Turbo edition, and our total easily exceeded $152,000 (see below).

The range currently consists of the Macan 4 and Macan 4 with the former producing 402 hp and 479 lb-ft (648 Nm) while the Turbo is good for 630 hp and 833 lb-ft (1,128 Nm).
