There’s no other road car quite like the Aston Martin Valkyrie and since its launch, only a few have traded hands on the used car market. Next month, RM Sotheby’s will auction off one of the 150 road cars built and believes it will sell for between $2.9 million and $3.3 million.

The original owner of this Valkyrie chose Scintilla Silver for the exterior, complete with large metallic flakes. Contrasting the silver finish are Speed Red details and the optional satin and gloss graphics packages from the Q personalization division.

A handful of other options were selected. These include an exposed gloss carbon fiber roof and engine cover, matte black magnesium performance wheels, red brake calipers, and Zirotec Black exhausts. A plaque on the door sill reveals this is number 51 of the 150 Valkyrie Coupes being built.

Aston Martin Valkyrie With Delivery Mileage And Beautiful Specification Could Sell For $3 Million

It’s hardly a secret that the interior of the Valkyrie is cramped and stripped back but the black and red Alcantara elements and exposed satin carbon fiber make it look more welcoming and combine beautifully with the silver exterior. The car has only been driven 123 km (76 miles).

The most lauded element of the Valkyrie is its engine. Aston Martin tasked Cosworth with building a screaming 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 and they delivered. The V12 can rev up to 11,100 rpm and produces 1,000 hp and is combined with a 140 hp electric motor and battery from Rimac. A single-clutch, seven-speed sequential transmission is bolted to the glorious V12.

Given how expensive and impractical the Valkyrie is, most will probably sit in collections and be rarely used. Here’s hoping a driving enthusiast buys this one and drives it the way it was designed to be driven.
