One could argue that there has never been a better time to be an enthusiast of classic off-roaders and muscle cars in the U.S. Thanks to restomodders, it is now easier than ever to buy a classic car that retains its original looks but has been thoroughly modified with up-to-date parts, making it drive like a new, or close to new, car. This 1970 Ford Bronco is one such example.
While the Bronco itself is 54 years old, it has ditched the original engine in favor of a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas II dual-range transfer case. The engine itself has also been upgraded with carbon fiber covers, an Edelbrock fuel pressure regulator, and supplemented by an aluminum radiator and a ceramic-coated exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler.
The Bronco has also been fitted with a 21-gallon fuel tank, meaning it should be well-suited to longer road trips.
Most of the exterior is original, although the Ford has been repainted in matte gray and it now features bolt-on fender flares. The seller has also equipped it with an ICON grille, a new tailgate insert, tail lamp bezels, unique door handles, and new mirrors.
Other important features include LED headlights, an LED light bar, a Warn winch, power-retractable side steps, and a billet fuel filler. Other details include a set of 35×12.5-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain T/A KO2 tires wrapped around 18-inch Method beadlock wheels.

There’s plenty to like about the cabin of the Bronco too as it is a nice mix of old and new. Up front are power-adjustable seats clad in black leather with microfiber inserts, an Alpine head unit, new speakers, and JL Audio subwoofers. It also has a Dakota digital instrument cluster that reveals the Bronco has been driven just 2,800 miles (~4,500 km) with its Coyote engine.
For as cool as this Bronco is, it won’t sell cheap. It was sold on Bring a Trailer in late 2022 for $185,000 and could sell for a similar figure this time.
