Sales of the long-awaited Polestar 4 have just started in Australia, following the electric model’s launch in China at the end of December.
Production of Australian-spec Polestar 4 models is set to begin in mid-2024, with deliveries expected to commence from August. The Polestar 4 falls in size between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 and features a unique sedan-crossover design, somewhat reminiscent of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
Underpinning the Polestar 4 is Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) and it is 4,480 mm (176.3 inches) long, 2,139 mm (84.2 inches) wide, and 1,534 mm (60.3 inches) tall with a 2,999 mm (118-inch) wheelbase. It is being built at the Geely plant in Hangzhou Bay, China and has the lowest carbon footprint of all Polestar models.
