The G11 7-Series is not a vehicle we’re used to seeing with extreme visual modifications. Still, an owner from Latvia wanted to make his flagship BMW look wild, so he commissioned AT26 Design to create a custom widebody kit made of carbon fiber.
The brief for the Latvian tuner was to incorporate Rocket Bunny-style visual upgrades to the large luxury sedan. Since nothing like this was done before, the process started with sketches, followed by scanning the bodywork and creating a plastic mockup of the add-ons. The final product was made of carbon fiber which according to the tuner proved to be easier to work on than fiberglass while being lighter.

The wide fender extensions with integrated openings, the front splitter, the side skirts, the ducktail spoiler, and the diffuser are left with an exposed carbon weave, contrasting with the gray exterior of the BMW. Overall, the modifications make the 7-Series look like an oversized M3 from the back. Future owners should know that the conversion is fully reversible, as the stock body panels are left unharmed underneath the carbon dress.
The 19-inch wheels of the donor vehicle were deemed too small for the conversion. As a result, the car is currently sitting on a set of custom-made 22-inch wheels by Z-Performance which will certainly turn heads on the road. Finally, an adjustable air suspension was added for the ultimate lowrider stance.
The wild looks are combined with mild performance modifications. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine was tuned to produce 400 hp (299 kW / 406 PS), up from the 315 hp (235 kW / 320 PS) of the stock BMW 740d. Power is transmitted to all four wheels – hence the xDrive moniker on the tailgate.
Photographer Anton Abitaev tells us the project started in 2018 and lasted two years. As for the cost of the upgrades, the owner paid €9,000 ($9,791) for the 22-inch Z Performance wheels, €8,000 ($8,705) for the custom carbon fiber body kit, and another €6,000 ($6,529) for the lip, diffuser, and rear spoiler.
