We’re getting closer to the debut of the new Bugatti hypercar, the V16-powered replacement for the Chiron. Mate Rimac, the CEO of Bugatti Rimac, published a short video teaser on his Instagram profile, showing the yet-unnamed hypercar under a veil.
The video was likely shot in a Bugatti-owned facility where the company showcases its latest product to its customers. Mate Rimac enters a special room full of curtains, with the covered hypercar parked in the middle. Right before we get a proper look at the vehicle, he stops the recording saying: “Not yet, we have to wait a little bit longer”.
The successor of the Bugatti Chiron remains covered but we can still see some of the styling details. The characteristic C-shaped element on the profile, the large wheels, and the pronounced front and rear fenders are all there.

The caption of the video reads: “The new Bugatti is coming soon. Unless you’re a customer – then you are already seeing it now”. Rumor has it that only those who already own a Veyron, a Chiron, or one of the very limited hypercars (Divo, Centodieci, La Voiture Noire, Bolide, and Mistral) can already order the new model.
The development of another ICE-powered Bugatti was announced by Mate Rimac two years ago. Recently, the Molsheim brand confirmed the rumors about a V16 powertrain, showing it on camera. The automaker didn’t get into details, but the mid-mounted engine could be combined with some sort of electrification. In any case, the hypercar will have more than enough power to surpass the performance of its predecessors, although Bugatti made it clear that it won’t be pursuing any top speed records in the future.
We will be closely watching both Bugatti’s and Mate Rimac’s social media channels for more information about the new hypercar. Hopefully, the official debut will take place sometime in the coming weeks.
