Porsche published an official teaser of a new performance-focused Taycan, announcing it will debut on March 11.

The new derivative of the electric Porsche is dubbed the “most dynamic Taycan of all time” and is expected to inherit the Turbo GT moniker, joining the lineup of Porsche’s most extreme offerings. The single teaser of the profile reveals the aggressive aero package that includes a fixed rear wing – similar to the prototypes caught by our spy photographers and the pre-production prototype shown by Porsche earlier this year.

The fastest Taycan ever lapped the Nurburgring in a record-beating 7:07.55. This is a full 18 seconds faster than the rival Tesla Model S Plaid, and only 2.25 seconds slower than the Rimac Nevera hypercar.

Besides the wing, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT will feature a splitter and a diffuser with integrated side fins, alongside a new set of alloy wheels. More importantly, it will feature a more aggressive chassis setup and possibly benefit from more power and less weight. Bear in mind that the recently facelifted Taycan Turbo S makes up to 939 hp (700 kW / 952 PS) from dual electric motors, propelling it from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 2.3 seconds. Rumor has it that the Turbo GT will produce over 1,000 hp (746 kW / 1,014 PS).

The presentation of the new Taycan flagship trim will be hosted by Formula E pit lane reporter Nicki Shields, Porsche’s vice-president Kevin Giek, former Le Mans driver Timo Benhard, and test driver Lars Kern who is responsible for the impressive lap time at the Green Hell.
