Tesla is quite proud of the innovative Cybertruck’s bulletproof stainless steel body panels and this feature has generated plenty of buzz for the electric truck. However, it appears to have also convinced the unnamed man in this video that the windshield of the Cybertruck is also armored and bulletproof, which it is not.
There’s limited context available about this video but what we can see is a man with a bunch of friends jumping up and down on a Cybertruck’s windshield, proclaiming it to be bulletproof. It is unclear if he or one of his friends owns the truck but we have a sneaking suspicion he was inebriated after a night out.
A few seconds into the video, the man can be heard telling one of his friends, “You told me it’s bulletproof, right?” to which his friend hilariously responds by saying “You’re not a bullet, you’re a Mexican.” Moments later, the man shouts “Here comes the bullet!” and sits down on the windshield, instantly breaking it.
Despite just breaking the windshield of the Cybertruck, the man doesn’t seem bothered in the slightest, telling the camera “Tesla breaks!” before the video cuts out.

If none of the individuals in the video own the Cybertruck in question, there’s a very good chance the owner will soon be tracking them down to pay for the repairs. Like other Tesla models, the truck is equipped with Sentry Mode which records the vehicle’s surroundings using its exterior and interior cameras. These cameras likely captured clear images of the man jumping on the pickup, as well as his friends who were watching.
A look online reveals that Tesla charges $1,900 for a replacement windshield for the Cybertruck, excluding installation.
