- Buick completes its refreshed lineup with the handsome, next-generation 2025 Enclave.
- New Enclave gets a 30-inch display and becomes the first Buick with GM Super Cruise.
- Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 with 328 hp.
The first Buick to ever get GM’s hands-free driver assistance system, Super Cruise, is finally here: the 2025 Enclave. The driver-assistance tech is available across the lineup, showcasing the automaker’s intentions with the SUV: to provide an up-to-date, attractive, and tech-forward vehicle for its customers.
With handsome looks inspired by the Wildcat EV concept car, the 2025 Enclave joins the rest of the refreshed Buick lineup with checkmark-shaped headlights, cross-body taillights, and a wide grille.

“With the launch of our Buick Enclave flagship SUV, our ICE portfolio is now complete with a full lineup of completely refreshed or all-new vehicles,” said Duncan Aldred, global VP of Buick. “The premium and sculptural design of the Enclave strikes a confident stance on any street, and the thoughtful technologies throughout elevate the driving experience.”
No More V6
Buick adds that the new Enclave is longer, wider, and taller than the outgoing model. Despite that, its engine is smaller, shrinking from a 3.6-liter V6 to a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four. Fortunately, the new engine is small but mighty, increasing output from 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) for the old model, to 328 hp (245 kW / 333 PS).
As the only engine offered across the lineup, the turbo-four is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The model will be offered with both front- and all-wheel-drive, and it will be able to tow up to 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg).
2025 Buick Enclave Sport Touring trim.
Inside, Buick has focused on high-tech toys to distinguish the 2025 Enclave from the competition. That means a new, biggest-in-class, 30-inch display that stretches from behind the steering wheel to the center of the dash as standard, incorporating both the infotainment screen and the instrument cluster.
In addition, the new Enclave also comes with standard wireless charging for your phone, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and seven standard camera views to help you navigate tight spaces. It also comes with a rich assortment of standard safety tech, such as blind spot steering assistance, intersection automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, and lane keep assist.
As mentioned above, Super Cruise is also available throughout the lineup, though it is an option. When fitted, owners will also get driver attention monitoring, Enhanced Automatic Park Assist, and, on the top-of-the-line Avenir trim, a digital rearview mirror.
On top of all that, the base Preferred trim also comes with multicolor ambient lighting, an auto-sensing power tailgate, heated and powered front seats, a 12-speaker Bose Audio system, 20-inch wheels, and QuietTuning, to help keep out road noise.
The Sport Touring trim adds a flat-bottom steering wheel, ST badging, exclusive interior trim, a High Gloss Black grille, and 20-inch wheels with High Gloss Black inserts.
Finally, the range-topping Avenir trim ups the ante with a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, ventilated seats, 22-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, walk-up animations, rain-sensing wipers, Continuous Damping Control for an even smoother ride, power-folding second- and third-row seats, and a head-up display.
The 2025 Buick Enclave will be assembled at GM’s Lansing Delta Township plant, in Michigan, with the order book expected to open later this summer. Buick has not released pricing for the new model yet.
