- The 5-speed manual transmission should make this classic Honda very enjoyable to drive.
Low-mileage supercars are a dime a dozen but finding a low-mileage Honda Accord from 1988 is like hitting the jackpot. It’s no surprise then that this pristine 36-year-old Accord is attracting so much buzz online.
This gorgeous Honda Accord Coupe has been listed for sale through Cars & Bids and has just ~4,200 miles (~6,700 km) under its belt. That is an extraordinarily low figure for a car like this and means the 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder under the hood should have decades of smooth and trouble-free running ahead of it.

The listing says that the seller purchased the Accord EX-i from the original owner who emigrated to Canada and bought the Honda as his first family car. However, his wife soon became pregnant and they needed a bigger car, meaning the Accord was kept in storage for much of its ownership.
Keeping black paint looking good isn’t easy but the car presents extraordinarily well. The only notable imperfections are a small scratch on the trunk lid, weathered trims, and some corrosion across the underbody.
The cabin screams 1980s and shows very little signs of wear. The fabric seats are pristine and the two-tone dashboard looks great too.
Bidders will be pleased to know the car has been maintained and routinely serviced despite sitting for most of its life. In September 2022, the timing belt was replaced and in May 2023, the tires were replaced.
By modern standards, the Accord’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 122 hp and 122 lb-ft (165 Nm) is underpowered, but we’re sure the five-speed manual transmission makes it very enjoyable to drive.
