The gaming and automotive worlds are colliding once again as Skoda has unveiled their new Vision Gran Turismo concept. It draws inspiration from the 1957 1100 OHC Spider and was designed exclusively for Gran Turismo 7.
It’s a stunning single-seat sports car that adopts cues from the classic racer and mixes them with the company’s Modern Solid design language. The end result is rather impressive as the model features an eye-catching design with sharp lines and muscular surfaces. They’re joined by minimalist lighting units, a vertical rear fin, and a split rear wing.

The car will be offered with two different liveries known as Explorer and Heritage. The former features matte green paint like the Vision 7S concept, while the latter recalls the 130 RS that scored a double victory in its class at the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally.
In terms of dimensions, the concept measures 173.5 inches (4,407 mm) long, 76.7 inches (1,947 mm) wide, and 37.4 inches (949 mm) tall. That means it has a similar footprint to the Toyota Supra, albeit with a notably lower height.
Moving inside, there’s a sport seat with a six-point harness. Drivers will also find a futuristic carbon fiber steering wheel and a “crystal stone that serves as a power meter.” Other highlights include a digital instrument cluster that doubles as a digital rearview mirror as well as vehicle proximity warning lights that warn you about nearby cars.
While specifications are make-believe, the car has four electric motors that produce a combined output of 1,073 hp (800 kW / 1,088 PS) and 752 lb-ft (1,020 Nm) of torque. The concept also has all-wheel drive as well as an 87 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
Skoda CEO Klaus Zellmer remarked, “The Skoda Vision Gran Turismo study bridges our rich heritage to our electric future and new Modern Solid design language. Our customers are explorers, and the sleek Skoda Vision Gran Turismo car is a great way to enrich their experiences while also attracting new fans to our brand.”
