- Zeekr is gearing up to introduce an ultra-luxurious version of the 009 on April 19.
- The minivan features two individual rear seats and an entertainment system worthy of a living room.
- The electric van will likely have 536 hp and a range of around 511 miles.
If you’ve sworn off minivans, you might want to reconsider as they’re no longer just for soccer moms. Quite the opposite as some companies have transformed minivans into cool, ultra-luxurious people movers.
The latest is Zeekr, which will unveil a four-seat version of the 009 on April 19. The company isn’t saying much about the model at this point, but it follows in the footsteps of the standard minivan and could be called the 009 Grand.

That remains to be seen, but the minivan sports a lightly revised exterior with additional chrome trim and 20-inch “forged disc” wheels. The latter have black center caps as well as an “enchanting laser-etched finish.”
Bigger changes occur inside as the van has two individual rear seats that have power leg rests as well as fancy headrests with integrated speakers. They’re separated by a unique center console that houses drawers, fold-out tables, and an integrated display.
The latter appears to control the seats, climate control system, and massive entertainment system. There’s no word on dimensions, but the screen wouldn’t look out a place in a living room.
Putting the display aside, the minivan has a rear partition wall as well as a panoramic glass roof. We can also see elegant wood trim and distinctive dot-like accents.
Little else is known about the van at this point, but the standard model has a massive 140 kWh battery that delivers a CLTC range of up to 511 miles (822 km). The van also has 536 hp (400 kW / 544 PS) and this enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds.
We can expect to learn more about the van at Auto China, but Zeekr hinted at a hefty price tag with a post saying “What would it be like to have two seats worth 500,000 yuan ($69,087) in a car?”
