The Enyaq helped to jump start Skoda’s electric revolution, but EVs have come a long way since the model was introduced in the fall of 2020. However, the company is working to address that with an updated crossover.
Recently spied undergoing testing, the 2025 Enyaq will receive a “comprehensive update” and adopt a new Modern Solid design. Skoda has been coy on additional details, but the prototype wears a new front bumper that has a larger and more expressive lower intake. They’re joined by less fussy vertical air curtains.

While the grille and headlights appear to carryover from the current model, a previous rendering has suggested the crossover could follow in the footsteps of the Epiq concept. In particular, the model may ditch its familiar grille and adopt slimmer lighting units.
There doesn’t appear to be any changes out back, but we can expect an assortment of updates including new taillights and a revised bumper. It’s also interesting to note the prototype is wearing stickers that say “Test Drive, Thanks” and “Brake Test.”

The photos only give us a brief look inside, but photographers noted the cabin was camouflaged and “appears to have been revised.” It’s a little too early to talk specifics, but we wouldn’t be surprised to find an updated infotainment system along with the usual mid-cycle changes.
Under the hood, we can likely expect an upgraded powertrain that delivers increased range and efficiency. That remains to be seen, but the current model is available in a variety of different configurations.
The entry-level Enyaq 60 has a 62 kWh battery pack and a rear-mounted motor developing 177 hp (132 kW / 179 PS) and 229 lb-ft (310 Nm) of torque. It enables the crossover to have a WLTP range of 249 miles (401 km).
The Enyaq 85 ups the ante with a larger 82 kWh battery as well as a beefier motor producing 282 hp (210 kW / 286 PS) and 402 lb-ft (545 Nm) of torque. This increases the range to 352 miles (566 km), while also lowering the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time to 6.7 seconds.
Buyers can also choose between two all-wheel drive variants. The Enyaq 85x makes 282 hp, can get to 62 mph in 6.6 seconds and has a 328-mile (528 km) range. Finally, the Enyaq vRS is the most notable as it has a combined output of 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 402 lb-ft (545 Nm) of torque. This enables the crossover to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5.5 seconds and have a range of 336 miles (541 km).
