- Various internal upgrades have also been made to the ‘Vette’s 6.2-liter V8.
- SVE has refrained from overhauling the car’s design but offers several graphics.
- The twin-turbo package costs $99,995, excluding the price of a donor car.
The crew from Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) has unveiled a limited-run version of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray with two turbochargers. Production will be capped at 10 units for 2024MY examples while 50 units will be produced for 2025MY.
Each and every current Corvette Stingray leaves the factory with a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8, but the SVE crew wasn’t satisfied with leaving this engine unchanged. As such, it has bolted on a pair of 58 mm water-cooled turbochargers with ceramic ball bearings. The V8 has also been upgraded with a forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam rods, forged 2618 aluminum pistons, and APR high-strength head and main studs.

The changes don’t stop there. The V8 also rocks CNC ported high-flow cylinder heads with an upgraded valvetrain, a new ground camshaft, customer intake manifold, and bespoke valve covers with integrated oil seperators. These mechanical changes, combined with custom engine mapping, allow the car to pump out 1,000 hp. Interestingly, no torque figure has been provided for the car, nor has SVE provided any performance details.
Regardless, we know that the Yenko S/C will be offered in Coupe and Convertible guises and available through GM dealerships in the U.S. and Canada.
The tuner has opted against making significant visual upgrades to the ‘Vette, but it has installed new silver wheels with a complex spoke design. The car also sports Yenko S/C graphics available in nine different colors or with a carbon fiber finish. Painted brake calipers are also offered.
Found in the interior of each of the 60 cars bound for the production line will be an SYC logo on the headrests and a set of embroidered floormats.
The price? A Yenko S/C 1000 hp package for the Corvette Stingray costs an eye-watering $99,995, and that’s before the price of the donor car itself. Given that the standard 202344 C8 Corvette starts from $69,995 before any options or fees, it means an S/C 1000 will cost you at least $170,000.
