U.S. restomod and off-roading specialist Icon 4×4 has just unveiled its latest Ford Bronco, and it might just be the finest one we’ve seen.

This started life as a 1968 Bronco but is now known as the Icon BR Old School Edition. When Icon 4×4 got its hands on it, they completely stripped it down, threw the old chassis out, and used a custom Art Morrison replacement. The new chassis has an epoxy primer and has been finished in a black powder coat to ensure it looks fresh and rust-free for years to come.

Under the hood, you’ll find a Coyote 5.0-liter V8 rated at 440 hp coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission and an Atlas II two-speed shift-on-the-fly transfer case. It sports a stainless steel Borla exhaust with catalytic converters and the brakes now utilize Brembo six-piston calipers up front, with four-piston calipers at the rear. The Bronco is also rocking Dana 60 and Dana 44 axles.

Icon 4×4 has then worked its magic on the exterior of the Bronco. It has been adorned in a lovely vintage paint scheme combining Azul Niagra Blue with Wimbledon white trim and an xPel ceramic coating. The exterior also features several chrome accents, including the badges, door handles, and a chrome strip running along the shoulder line and across the tailgate. A set of forged 18-inch Old School wheels with a set of vintage hubcaps.

No Bronco restomod would be complete without an overhauled interior and that’s exactly what this one has. The dashboard and steering wheel have been color-matched with the outside, plus new door panels and seats adorned in Moore & Giles Saddle leather. Aluminum air vents and a Vintage Air V5 HVAC system have also been fitted. The Bronco also features a Premium head unit hidden in the center console with wireless Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth.
