• The chemical giant purchased Belstaff in 2017.
  • Existing trim levels of the Ineos Grenadier are named after two iconic jackets from the Belstaff brand.
  • Sales of the Grenadier 1924 will start on June 26.

This is the first limited-edition variant of the Ineos Grenadier. While you may have expected a special Grenadier to be an even more capable off-roader than the standard model, the changes made are purely visual and celebrate the 100th anniversary of clothing brand Belstaff.

The special model, dubbed the Grenadier 1924, will be available from June 26 and capped at just 1,924 units globally. All examples will feature the same exterior finish, combining Magic Mushroom (off-white) with Inky Black. While this isn’t the most dramatic of exterior finishes, it suits the Grenadier nicely.

Elsewhere, Ineos has equipped the limited-run model with gloss black diamond-cut 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a black front grille. The Grenadier also includes front and rear skid plates finished in dark grey.

Modifications continue in the cabin where the dashboard, center stack, overhead console, switch gear, and console, all now have a dark green finish. New black saddle leather also adorns the steering wheel, handbrake, and passenger grab handle, while a dark grey headliner completes the changes.

Ineos will unveil the Grenadier 1924 to the public at a special centenary event for Belstaff between May 24-28 in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK. This isn’t the first time Ineos has worked with the clothing company, as the existing Trailmaster and Fieldmaster trim levels of the Grenadier are named after two of Belstaff’s most iconic jackets.

Style that lasts a century deserves to be celebrated and the Grenadier 1924 is both great looking and a seriously assured drive,” Ineos Automotive chief executive Lynn Calder said. “Belstaff has been trusted by generations of bikers, sportspeople, and trendsetters, so we know we’re in good company.”

Finally, each model will include a plaque denoting its number among the 1,924 units. The company hasn’t announced pricing for the Grenadier 1924 yet.
