- New financing deals apply to 2023 WRX and 2023 F-150 Lightning models
- Customers could save over $5,000 through one of these deals
- Unfortunately, financing rates for 2024 models are not as competitive
We have good news for anyone interested in picking up the keys to a Subaru WRX or a Ford F-150 Lightning in the U.S. as both are now available with 0% APR when financed.
Starting with the Subbie, a recent dealer bulletin reveals it will be available with 0% APR financing for up to 72 months until the end of May. Making this deal even more compelling is the fact that the Hyundai Elantra N and Volkswagen Golf GTI are available for 72 months at 6.49% and 5.9%, respectively.

However, this zero-percent APR deal is only applicable for the 2023 WRX, with the 2024 model offered with an APR rate of 6.29%. Cars Direct reports there are roughly 300 WRXs from the 2023 MY on dealership lots across the United States. This could make it challenging to find one that fits your ideal specifications.
Shoppers who put down $10,000 for a 2023 WRX would pay roughly $300 a month over 72 months and avoid more than $5,000 in interest compared to financing a 2024 WRX.
It’s a similar story with the Ford F-150 Lightning. The manufacturer recently announced that 2023 models are now eligible for 0% APR for 60 months and 1.9% for a 72-month loan. Cars Direct says this is the first time Ford has offered interest-free financing on its electric pickup truck but doesn’t mention how many 2023 models are in the carmaker’s current inventory.
Unfortunately, Ford has dropped an offer of between $2,500 and $12,500 in Retail Bonus Cash in some regions and only now offers a $7,500 purchase incentive for the F-150 Lightning Platinum, meaning it could be the version to go for. Nevertheless, even if shoppers opt for the 1.9% rate over six years, they stand to save approximately $6,500 in interest for a $50,000 model.
