• Carlex Design has adorned the Italian car’s cabin in green, yellow, and black leather.
  • Several black Alcantara elements have also been installed.
  • Ferrari stopped building the GTC4Lusso to make way for the Purosangue SUV.

To many ordinary individuals like us, the notion of spending €30,000 (about $32,000 at current exchange rates) to customize the interior of a car may seem absurd. However, for the owner of the following Ferrari GTC4Lusso T, who recently invested that amount in the car’s cabin, it’s likely considered chump change.

This particular GTC4Lusso T was recently customized by the experts at Carlex Design and is the stuff of dreams. While transforming its cabin cost almost the same as buying a new hot hatch, there’s no other Ferrari with an interior quite like this.

Very little of the car’s interior has been left untouched. Adorning the front and rear seats is plush new black and green leather with yellow piping and black Alcantara centers and headrests. This color theme continues across the rest of the cabin. For example, there’s green leather on the dashboard, steering wheel, transmission tunnel, and door panels. Hiding behind this green leather are yellow leather accents.

Adding to the unique appeal of the car’s cabin is yellow contrast stitching throughout much of the cabin. Black Alcantara has also been added to the dashboard, as has an eye-catching piece of yellow trim that runs across the base of the dash and extends across the door panels. Carlex says it needed just five days to overhaul the interior of this GTC4Lusso T which to us, sounds like quite an impressive turnaround.

Ferrari stopped selling the GTC4Lusso and GTC4Lusso T a few years ago as it prepared to make room for its first SUV, the Purosangue. While the Purosangue appears to be a better all-rounder than the GTC4Lusso, there’s something we miss about the quirky shooting brake shape of the old car.
