- The recall impacts the Revero GT, GS-6, GTS, GS-6s, and GS-6L.
- Karma recently unveiled an all-electric sedan based heavily on the Revero.
- Dealers have been instructed to replace the headlights free of charge.
Karma aimed to salvage the remnants of Fisker Automotive, rebranding, revising, and revamping the sleek hybrid sports sedan into the Revero. However, Karma has never taken off like its owners would have liked and a recent recall exposes the meager production numbers of the Revero during a two-and-a-half-year period.
The boutique automaker has announced a recall encompassing all Revero GT, GS-6, GTS, GS-6s, and GS-6L models manufactured between July 16, 2019, and December 21, 2022. A total of 269 sedans require attention due to an issue with the front turn signals.

The recall notice reveals the headlamp turn signal functions intermittently because of a fault on the indicator circuit. Karma explains that the turn signal may stay active longer than it’s commanded to by the Vehicle Control Module, although the problem is sporadic. Data from cloud communication indicates the problem is occurring at an average rate of 2.3 – 3.8 times per vehicle per month.
Karma says owners of impacted Revero models will be alerted to the issue by a warning light on the instrument panel and a fast-blinking turn signal. The problem can be temporarily rectified if it resets during regular operation or if the vehicle is turned off and then turned back on. The company says 13 vehicles have been brought to dealers with the issue, and 98 vehicles have reported similar concerns through Karma Cloud Services.
While the faulty turn signal hasn’t caused any damage or injuries, Karma has instructed dealers to install new headlights with updated software free of charge. Owners will be alerted of the recall from July 25.
This recall comes just a few months after Karma announced its first fully electric model, the Gyesera. The new model is based around the Revero, but the exterior has been revised. It adopts a new powertrain with a 120 kWh battery pack and a powerful rear-mounted electric motor with 590 hp and 693 lb-ft (939 m) of torque. The car can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 4.2 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 135 mph (217 km/h).
